Thomas Street Health Center

The Harris County Hospital District's Thomas Street Health Center is a freestanding HIV/AIDS treatment facility providing medical and psychological services to residents of Harris County diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Thomas Street Health Center provides health care services for more than 26,000 patient visits.

Thomas Street Health Center provides patients with a wide variety of medical services, including: aerosolized pentamidine, chemotherapy, dermatology, IV therapy, pharmacy, physical rehabilitation services, and also offers an extensive HIV health education curriculum.

Thomas Street Health Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. To receive medical services at Thomas Street, you must be diagnosed as HIV positive. Parking is free.

Every Wednesday, the Thomas Street Health Center provides the saliva-based Orasure^TM HIV test to those who wish to be tested for HIV.
