Settegast Health Center Makes Thanksgiving More Joyous for Patients

HOUSTON (Nov. 18, 2008) – Thanks to the generosity of Harris County Hospital District's Settegast Health Center employees, 30 patients will be getting Thanksgiving baskets filled with turkey, dressing, vegetables and other items to make a delicious Thanksgiving dinner.

“We enjoy giving to our patients,” said Billie Fitzpatrick, Settegast CARE project coordinator. “We want them to have a wonderful holiday, and we're glad we can help them out.”

For the past three months, staff members have been raising money to make Thanksgiving baskets for 30 patients and their families. The baskets will be distributed Friday, Nov. 21 at Settegast Health Center, 9105 North Wayside, starting at 10 a.m.
