HCHD's Troubleshooters
Program Offering $3 Immunizations, $5 Seasonal Flu Shots
HOUSTON (Dec. 23,
2009) – The Harris County Hospital District’s Troubleshooters Program is
offering $3 immunizations and $5 seasonal flu shots throughout January
for children two months to 18 years of age. At this time, H1N1 influenza
vaccines are not included.
To receive
immunizations, a parent must be present with the child’s shot record.
All shots will be given based on availability.

The
Harris County Hospital District is the public healthcare system for the
nation’s third most-populous county. It provides more than 1.4 million
healthcare visits each year to residents of Harris County. The hospital
district operates Ben Taub General Hospital, Lyndon B. Johnson General
Hospital, Quentin Mease Community Hospital, 13 community health centers,
a dialysis center, a dental center, eight school-based clinics, 13
homeless shelter clinics and five mobile health units.
