The Harris County Hospital District’s Corporate Communications Office is dedicated to the dissemination of important health and medical information to the public. This is accomplished through collaborating with the media, regular updates to the HCHD Web site, and hospital district publications, including The BEAT, Progress, and communityone. 

To ensure that all media opportunities are handled in an appropriate, prompt, and efficient manner in compliance with HIPAA and other laws, the hospital district follows these media procedures.
