HCHD Foundation

The Harris County Hospital District Foundation was established in 1992 to supplement and enhance the broad health care mission of the Harris County Hospital District, one of the oldest and largest health care providers in the region dedicated to serving the medically indigent population with high quality care and serving the general population with unique healthcare programs and services.

The Foundation seeks to promote the unique character and contributions of the Harris County Hospital District, initiate and support new healthcare, education and research services and programs, recognize unique contributions of individuals and organizations that advance the District, and advocate the continuing partnership with Houston's business and community resource since its inception.

The Foundation seeks financial support through special grants and contracts; individual, corporate, and foundation contributions; and other special purpose fund-raising initiatives.
