Immunizations
The
Harris County Hospital District’s Troubleshooters Mobile Immunization
Outreach Program is offering free immunizations to the general public
throughout the month of October.

HCHD Opens New
Dialysis Center
The
Harris County Hospital District is opening a new community dialysis
center. It is the first chronic dialysis treatment facility to be opened
by the district.

Hospital District to Host Free Community
Health Fairs
The Harris County Hospital District’s community health centers will hold
free community health fairs throughout the summer and fall. The health
fairs are open to the public and offer residents one-stop convenience

Health Fairs
To educate
and encourage people to access their local public healthcare system, the
Harris County Hospital District provides promotional healthcare services
in community settings such as health fairs at school districts,
churches, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups, and a variety of
other civic group locations.

Free HIV Testing
Testing is confidential and anonymous. You must be 13 years of age
or older. It is quick and requires no blood. Instead, HCHD uses OraQuick,
a test that uses a swab sample collected from the inside of one's mouth.
