HCHD Set to Open New El Franco Lee Health Center in Alief
The Harris County Hospital District, the community's primary provider of medical care to the uninsured and underinsured, will open a new 66,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art health center and pharmacy in the Alief-area of west Houston Monday, May 18.  The El Franco Lee Heath Center is now scheduling appointments for new patients at 713-526-4243. Health Fairs
To educate and encourage people to use the public health care system, the Harris County Hospital District provides promotional health care services in community settings including schools, churches, non-profit organizations, advocacy group events and a variety civic group locations. (more)

Free HIV Testing
Testing is confidential and anonymous. You must be 13 years or older. It's quick and requires no blood. Instead, the Harris County Hospital District uses a swab sample collected from inside one's mouth. To find your nearest testing site, click either English or Spanish.
