Beginning Tuesday, October 20, 2009, LBJ
Hospital
will start construction of their new
Emergency
Center. This construction
will require the redirection of non-emergency ambulance traffic and the
temporary closure of some of the ambulance docks. These changes will
require ambulance crews to move their units from the remaining limited
dock spaces to adjacent parking areas so that arriving ambulances will have
space to unload their emergency patients. (more)
HCHD's Troubleshooters
Program Offering $3 Immunizations, $5 Seasonal Flu Shots
The Harris County Hospital District's Troubleshooters Program is
offering $3 immunizations and $5 seasonal flu shots throughout November
for children two months to 18 years of age. At this time, H1N1 influenza
vaccines are not included. (more)

Testing is confidential and anonymous. You must be 13 years
or older. It's quick and requires no blood. Instead, the Harris County
Hospital District uses
