Visitor Information Family members and close friends are encouraged to visit patients during their hospital stay. Be sure to contact the hospital’s nursing unit before you visit to determine the appropriate visiting hours. Most units allow for some flexibility in the patient visiting hours. However, HCHD hospitals' intensive care units have restricted visiting hours and shorter visiting times to ensure patients receive the rest they need during their stay. Since patients may have a restricted diet for medical reasons, please check with the nursing staff before bringing any food for a patient. Hospital visitors are welcome to dine in the cafeterias. HCHD cafeterias are generally open from early morning until late evening. Hours of operation are posted at the cafeteria entrances. |
